How to use SMI-SPON
1- Cut a piece to the desired size
2- Apply SMI-SPON either in a dry state (3) or saturated with physiological salt solution (4)
3- If used dry, a piece of SMI-SPON is applied to the bleeding place and held in place with moderate pressure until hemostasis results
4- If used wet, first immerse in the solution and then withdraw, squeeze between gloved fingers to expel air bubbles, and the replace in saline until needed
